Letter from the President 2012
Dear Global Partner,
Addressing your Company’s and the World’s most pressing need is how Clean Fuel Technologies, LLC came to be formed. By looking at energy in a new way we were able to create a device whose sole purpose is to change the way fuel is burned. In doing this we have also been able to extend or improve some of our most precious resources; oil, air, and health. As in any new breakthrough science it will take years of attention and constant improvement to the various devices needed to expand this to the full range of transportation, rail, marine, construction, mining, power generation, and other engines driven by carbon energy sources. But the initial breakthrough is completed and now the work begins to bring the benefits to the world and to you and your company. We hope that the time needed for the World to reap the benefits of this will happen faster than Edison’s life work, but it will take all of our attention and efforts to make sure that we can all succeed together.
What this can mean to your Company is an increase in your bottom line of more than 20% of your annual fuel budget. For Public companies this increase can be dramatically multiplied by the PE to create a larger Market Capitalization for your shareholders, and more successful operations for your people. What it means to your Country is a direct increase in the productivity of your diesel energy supplies, thereby increasing your GDP and lowering your imported fuel expenses. If you look at an average trucking company of 1,000 trucks, they spend over $100,000 in fuel per truck, or over $900,000 in the life of the truck. This is a total cost of $900MM USD for this fleet life. By saving 20% we can create $180MM in direct savings or over 45M gallons of fuel saved. On a US National basis it can translate to over 2.5% of the total GDP of the USA, or over $360B USD per year. Is there a more important issue relating to sustainability and Balance of Trade than this?
Because we treat the fuel differently we also lower the exhaust particulates (soot). These ultrafine particles are a major cause of health issues as well as pollution. So as mining companies, construction vehicles, trains, adopt this technology they can see the immediate benefits. In that acceptance we will all benefit from cleaner air and better health.
